Hautes Glaces
Since its creation by Frédéric Revol in 2009, the Hautes Glaces has produced exceptional single malt whiskies from the Trièves Mountains. Located at an altitude of 900m deep within the French Alps, the organic, mountain farm distillery crafts whiskies which are manufactured in a traditional, authentic way. Unrivalled in flavor, character, natural essence, and authenticity, the whiskies are the result of extensive research and analysis of local land, as well as of the five universal elements: earth, water, fire, wood, and metal. Moreover, they fully embody the distillery’s savoir-faire and fundamental values, including excellence, quality, precision, and craftsmanship.

The Hautes Glaces skillfully implements modern, innovative approaches to sustainable development throughout the entire production process without sacrificing quality. These initiatives include the use of renewable and local energy sources. Incorporating a variety of grains, such as barley, rye, spelt and hull-less oats, the organically grown whiskies are continually subjected to varying Alpine climatic conditions. This results in an aromatically-rich – and certified organic – final product. The honey-colored, heritage whiskies are elegantly displayed in minimalistic, yet contemporary, design bottles, which reflect the intricate relationship between past, present and future with respect to the land.
